Media Artifact Assignment

1. My name is Madelyn Taylor and I'm planning on teaching high school English. The typical educational purpose I hope to address is school event/club advertisement. I chose this purpose because a) I'm already relatively familiar with it and b) it's something I plan on using multiple times while teaching. I used facebook and Adobe Illustrator/Acrobat to create an interactive flyer which links to a facebook event via QR code. Here is an example:

To avoid biased portrayals of diverse identities, and because the event aims to invite all experiences and identities, the flyers are minimalistic and don't try to portray any kind of specific demographic.
